VOISINS réunit les œuvres de Svitlana Anoshkina et Sergo Verbicki autour d’une réflexion sur la proximité, la distance et les trajectoires de vie.

Originaires d’Ukraine, les deux artistes partagent une histoire commune, celle d’ateliers voisins à Kyiv, aujourd’hui séparés par le déplacement et le contexte géopolitique. Cette exposition met en dialogue leurs pratiques respectives : la peinture de Svitlana Anoshkina, sensible et lumineuse, traversée par l’expérience de l’exil, et les formes céramiques de Sergo Verbicki, plus brutes, ancrées dans la matière et la transformation.

Sans chercher à unifier leurs langages, VOISINS propose une coexistence. Les œuvres se répondent par contraste, entre fragilité et densité, couleur et matière, présence et distance.

L’exposition explore ainsi ce qui relie, malgré les écarts — une manière d’habiter le monde, ensemble, même séparément.

Svitlana Anoshkina

Artiste peintre ukrainienne, Svitlana Anoshkina développe une pratique picturale sensible, marquée par la lumière, la couleur et une attention particulière aux états intérieurs. Son travail, nourri par l’expérience du déplacement entre Kyiv et Varsovie, explore une perception du monde à la fois intime et distanciée.

Sergo Verbicki

Artiste pluridisciplinaire basé à Kyiv, Sergo Verbicki travaille la céramique comme une matière vivante, entre tension, fracture et transformation. Ses œuvres, à la fois brutes et poétiques, interrogent la relation entre ancrage, territoire et mémoire, dans une approche qu’il qualifie de « minimalisme primordial ».

NEIGHBORS brings together the works of Svitlana Anoshkina and Sergo Verbicki around a reflection on proximity, distance, and life trajectories.

Originally from Ukraine, the two artists share a common history as studio neighbors in Kyiv, now separated by displacement and the current geopolitical context. The exhibition creates a dialogue between their respective practices: the painting of Svitlana Anoshkina, sensitive and luminous, shaped by the experience of exile, and the ceramic works of Sergo Verbicki, more raw and grounded in material and transformation.

Without seeking to unify their artistic languages, NEIGHBORS proposes a form of coexistence. The works respond to each other through contrast — between fragility and density, color and material, presence and distance.

The exhibition explores what connects us despite differences — a way of inhabiting the world together, even when apart.

Svitlana Anoshkina

Ukrainian painter Svitlana Anoshkina develops a sensitive pictorial practice marked by light, color, and a strong attention to inner states. Her work, shaped by her movement between Kyiv and Warsaw, explores a perception of the world that is both intimate and distanced.

Sergo Verbicki

A multidisciplinary artist based in Kyiv, Sergo Verbicki works with ceramics as a living material, exploring tension, fracture, and transformation. His works, both raw and poetic, question the relationship between anchoring, territory, and memory, in what he describes as a “primordial minimalism.”
